Product Description
Glucose Metabolic Support contains Glucosol, a new dietary ingredient extracted from the herb Lagestroemia speciosa. Glucosol's active component, corosolic acid, has been the subject of scientific studies that show it may support healthy blood sugar levels by facilitating the transport of glucose into cells. We have also included an extract from the herb Gymnema sylvestre, a small plant native to India. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful  Sugar plus carb cravings fading...slowly., March 25, 2013 This review is from: NOW Foods Glucose Metabolic Support, 90 Capsules (Health plus Beauty) It's been three weeks since I started taking this product plus I have to say I do feel like I no longer have a big sweet tooth or cravings for bread or pasta in my meals. I also don't experience such a *big* sugar crash/drowsiness after eating a carb heavy meal now. I'm in the very early stages of becoming a diabetic plus my doctor recommended taking vitamins high in Chronmium so I went around searching for a good brand of vitamins plus I found this. I'm hoping this will really improve my blood sugar levels so I don't become a full blown diabetic. *****Update 04/27/2013***** Well after a month of using these vitamins, I have to say that I do have less of a sugar/sweet craving now. Now plus then I do want something sweet, but my serving size has been reduce a lot. I usually can eat a king sized Snickers bars in one go, but now I got to divide it into 3 servings through out the day as I seem to have more control over my sweet cravings.
